Hands-on art experiences spark imagination, build confidence, and are a great way for young artists to explore their creativity while enjoying the festival. Stop by our art tent for fun and engaging youth art activities offered each day! Kids of all ages are invited to get creative and make something special to take home.

Each day, local artist instructors guided participants through a hands-on project designed to spark creativity and celebrate the joy of making art. These free workshops are open to adult attendees and offer a chance to learn something new in a fun, relaxed setting.

Space is limited to 20 participants per session and is available on a first come, first serve basis.

We were excited to welcome Kathy Rausch, mandala artist, author, and passionate advocate for creative expression, to our tent at this year’s Westerville Music & Arts Festival! Kathy has taught mandala art to people of all ages and believes deeply in the power of art to inspire connection, joy, and transformation.

On Saturday, Kathy facilitated a collaborative community mandala—a large-scale artwork designed to celebrate the spirit of Westerville. Festival goers were invited to take part in this meaningful project by contributing their own creative touch.

This was a unique opportunity to create something beautiful alongside our neighbors and be part of a one-of-a-kind community art experience.

We were thrilled to welcome Curtain Players, Westerville’s own award-winning community theatre, to our tent at this year’s Westerville Music & Arts Festival! Known for producing high-quality, engaging performances since 1963, Curtain Players will present a lively, all-ages show titled The Bremen Town Musicians—a fun and interactive 45-minute performance featuring audience participation.

This marked an exciting addition to our festival lineup as we expand to include performing arts alongside our hands-on visual art offerings.
