Random Acts of Art
Piloted in 2016, Random Acts of Art (RAoA) was launched to engage the community in local art culture and enrich the experience through pop-up art. As one of the newer programs organized by ACW, RAoA offers the creative community an opportunity to share the arts and culture experience, and make them available to all who live in and visit Westerville.
RAoA are temporary exhibits and public performances, or cultural events. They can include sculptures, art installations, culinary arts, murals, performances, festivals and streetscapes.
Events occurring at a variety of Uptown locations during fall 2016 were the temporary installment of Winging It, metal bird sculptures by local artist Renate Fackler, and pop-up presentations by dancers from the Generations Performing Arts Center.
